About the Team

You will lead HAQQ's finance function and work side by side with the executive team, Legal, People, and Growth. The team supports a multi-entity group spanning multiple countries, and is a key partner in every major company decision — from fundraising and group structuring to pricing and hiring.

About the Role

The VP, Finance is HAQQ's senior finance leader. You will own the full finance cycle across all group entities — accounting, consolidation, reporting, treasury, payroll, tax, and compliance — and turn it into a reliable, scalable function. Beyond keeping the books right, you will be a strategic partner to leadership: building the budget and forecasts, guiding investment and fundraising decisions, and supporting the group's ongoing restructuring and consolidation. This is a hands-on leadership role for someone equally comfortable building models, closing the month, and presenting to the board.

In This Role You Will

  • Lead and build the finance function across all HAQQ entities, setting policies, controls, and processes that scale.
  • Own the monthly, quarterly, and annual close, and deliver accurate consolidated and entity-level financial statements.
  • Manage group consolidation, intercompany transactions, and transfer-pricing arrangements across multiple countries.
  • Build and run the annual budget, rolling forecasts, and financial models; track performance against plan and report variances.
  • Oversee treasury and cash management, including multi-currency banking, payment providers, and cash-flow forecasting — with particular care for the Lebanese banking environment.
  • Oversee payroll, vendor payments, billing, and collections, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
  • Ensure tax and statutory compliance in every jurisdiction, and coordinate with external auditors, tax advisors, and local accountants.
  • Support fundraising, investor relations, and board reporting, including data rooms, KPIs, and SaaS metrics (ARR, burn, runway, unit economics).
  • Partner with leadership and Legal on corporate restructuring, entity setup, and group holding structure.
  • Own and improve the finance tech stack (e.g., QuickBooks Online across entities) and automate reporting where possible.
  • Provide financial analysis and recommendations on pricing, hiring, investments, and new markets.
  • Hire, develop, and manage the finance team.

You Might Thrive If You

Required
  • 10+ years of progressive finance experience, including at least 4 years in a senior finance leadership role (Finance Director, Head of Finance, VP Finance, or CFO-track).
  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
  • Professional qualification such as CPA, ACCA, CMA, or CFA.
  • Hands-on experience with multi-entity, multi-currency accounting and group consolidation under IFRS and/or US GAAP.
  • Strong knowledge of Lebanese tax, labor, and financial regulations, and the practical realities of operating in Lebanon.
  • Proven experience with budgeting, forecasting, and financial modeling.
  • Experience working with auditors, tax advisors, and banks across multiple jurisdictions.
  • Fluency in English and Arabic.
  • Based in Lebanon.
Preferred
  • Experience in a technology, SaaS, or venture-backed startup environment.
  • Exposure to fundraising, investor reporting, and cap-table management.
  • Familiarity with international, multi-jurisdiction entity and holding structures.
  • Experience with QuickBooks Online and finance automation tools.
  • Big Four or audit background.
